Creating a 30 Day Challenge with Matt Cutts
Matt Cutts is software engineer who has been working for Google since January 2000. He showed his orange side by blogging as an aside to his job at Google creating a large following of people who were interested what he was saying. His blog has won several web awards including the best SEO blog of 2005. As the head of the webspam team at Google, he has learned what it takes to get things done. This is one of the biggest challenges that most people face. Once we know what changes we would like to make in our life, the real challenge becomes how to implement those changes.
In this video Matt Cutts gives us an interesting insight into how to accomplish our goals. He shows how creating your own 30 day challenges is the perfect way to add new positive habits or get rid of bad ones. Most of us over estimate what we can do in the short term, and under estimate what we can do in the long term. By creating small short term goals that are designed to become long term habits, anyone can build lasting change in their life.
My first 30 day challenge has already been created. When will you start yours?
P.S – I added to this post to inform you that I have just completed my first 30 day challenge and it was a big success. I chose something that was difficult for me but that I knew I could do. This has helped motivate me to do more 30 day challenges and each month I plan on doing a new one to improve my life, explore new things, and accomplish my goals.
